Spur Rowel

I share a horse .. and it is really weak in times.Do think Spurs would help and what type or Rowel blunt?

I wonder if the Spurs would be cruel .. but just need to wake omething? Please tell me what you think? I wouldnt want to hurt my horse .. but is lazy most of the time .. and when he RELI isn't lazy is exicted .. and difficult to travel .. I do not want to be cruel please help????

This sounds like the wrong horse. I would suggest looking for a different horse to share or lease. Being slow and unresponsive, then being over-excited and UN-manageable are signs of a green horse: the horse is probably more inexperienced then lazy. Spurs and whips are extra "aid" for his horse. There are answers for a lazy horse. Spurs are supposed to be used for advanced movements, not to encourage a horse to move faster. As for the whip, if you do not know how to use it correctly, none at all. The first time using whips and spurs, always have a trainer present to ensure the correct use of aid.
