western horse bits that get strait to the point?

okay, so i have a good bit, but it looks really comfusing, i have a simple snaffle bit, but i want something different. i want a western bit that gets a message across kindly, something direct. not harsh but not so boring like a snaffle. my horse is learning to neck rein but direct reins right now, so any suggestions anybody?!?!

OK, Let me get this straight....you are wanting to make a FASHION STATEMENT with your horses bit??? If your horse works well in a simple snaffle there is absolutely no reason to change it. My philosophy is that you keep your horse in the absolutely mildest bit you can possibly keep him in. That is simply the kindest way.
