a. 2.9 atm (for NO2); 5.2 atm (for N2O4)
b. 0.47 atm (for NO2); 1.16 atm (for N2O4)

Partial pressures must equal the total pressure. a is wrong and c is wrong. b and d are reversed so you have to make up your mind about which is who.
Step One
=======
Find the quadratic for this situation.
Let x = the partial pressure due to the product (N02)
Therefore the reactant is going to be 1.63-x
Kp = [Products]/[Reactants] [] brackets used for partial pressures. Usually square brackets are meant for concentrations, but with this editor it is so much easier to use square brackets for clarity.
There are two moles of products. so they are squared.
Kp = 2.9
So
2.9 = [x]^2 / [1.63 - x] Cross multiply
3.727 - 2.9x = x^2
Put everything over on the right.
0 = x^2 + 2.9x - 4.727
a = 1
b = 2.9
c = - 4.727
x = [-2.9 +- sqr(2.9^2 - 4*1*(-4.727))]/2
There are two roots from this.
Step 2

Find the roots.
x = 1.16
and
x = - 4. something
We throw out the second root because there cannot be a negative pressure
Step 3
=====
Interpret the results.
The product was x It makes up most of the partial pressure so it is 1.16
The product was N02 so it's partial pressure is 1.16. That should make sense to you because N02 has 2 moles for every mole of N202.
The reactant is 1.63 - 1.16 = 0.47
The answer is (Ta DA)
DDDDDD.
Of course the other answers are correct and that is how you would do a multiple choice question, but I have shown you how to do the problem.
I have seen these questions ask what the quadratic looks like to solve for the partial pressures. So it is best to understand how the answer is derived.
