Opinions on this saddle...?
I am buying a used 'Silver Fox' all purpose saddle. It has been used lightly. It comes with leathers, a 50" synthetic (Wintec) girth, HDR breastplate with running martingale attachment, 6 inch loose ring snaffle,X-full bridle with braided and colour reins! ( I have no pic's)
The sellers were asking $450, but I am trading a western saddle for it.
Do the price seem right for this type of saddle?
Any opinions on the saddle itself?
The seller is asking $450, I am trading my western saddle that I pain $250 for. So I think its a fair trade. I was juat wanting to know some prices of this english saddle, and some opinions on it.
I would say it's a bit of a rip off. You can get something a lot cheaper on Ebay, or even a local tack shop! If you have photos, it'd be a lot easier to tell. I say for a western saddle though, it's an ok deal. It's just that $450 is a lot of money for something that's not brand spankin new.
