Synthetic Saddles
What are the pros and cons of synthetic and leather saddles and which one would you recommend?
For general riding and jumping
Can you use synthetic saddles in shows?
like every thing else it depends on what you are using it for.synthetic saddles are lighter and for the most part dont mind getting wet but they arent very good for roping and working livestock because they tend to flex more with a load on the horn.leather saddles are an investment and if taken care of properly they will last several generations and get nicer to ride on.they are great for working livestock and they have a stronger horn and will take more abuse than a synthetic saddle.i still have several good useable saddles from my grandfather that were made in the 1920s.
